In Budapest, 28 September-1 October 2006. *SOLID PROJECT (www.solid-eu.org)* Strategies on Litigation Tackling Discrimination in EU Countries Training Workshops (travel and accommodation costs provided). Deadline for applications: 30 June 2006.

Venue: Budapest
Dates: 28th September -1st October 2006
Deadline for applications: 30 June 2006
Countries included: Cyprus, Greece, Netherlands, Slovenia and Ireland

The SOLID partners would like to invite you to apply for a new and unique training programme on using the Race Equality Directive at the national level. We will train people not only on the legal standards and use of litigation, but crucially we will facilitate the development of longer term strategies on litigation and support for victims of discrimination at the national level, which will be developed in partnership with the other participating NGOs. The training will rely on interactive methods, including workshops in the national language facilitated by a national expert. You don’t need to be a lawyer to take part, we are looking for people and organisations with a wide variety of backgrounds.

If you believe that this training could also benefit some of your contacts, we would be grateful if you could forward the details of our project to them. Should you require any further information please contact Tansy Hutchinson, Project Co-ordinator at thutchinson@solid-eu.org or Francoise Barlet, Project Administrator at fbarlet@solid-eu.org.
