Sámi Duodji Sameslöjdstiftelsen and The Saami Council invite duojárat and people active in Sámi creative industries and duodji organizations to Duodjebeaivvit 20-22 October in Árviesjávvrie. During the days we will celebrate Sámi Duodji’s 30 year anniversary, discuss Sámi trademarks and business development, listen to interesting and inspiring lectures and have group discussions on various subjects within duodji.

Last date for registration is 3/9 2023.

There is a limited number of places available and priority is given to duojárat, people who work in Sámi creative industries or are active in duodji organisations. You will be notified on an ongoing basis if you have been accepted to the conference. The notifications will start from August 1st.

Practical information

The conference is held at Hotel Laponia in Arvidsjaur. Participation in the conference is free of charge. Sámi Duodji and The Saami Council provide accommodation and food. We do not cover travel.

The conference is interpreted into Northern Sami, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and English.

The conference is organized as a collaboration between the Sámi Duodji Sameslöjdstiftelsen and The Saami Council.
