The Ohcejohka Declaration is now available in four languages

The Ohcejohka Declaration is now available in Finnish, Swedish, English and Northern Sámi. The declaration was adopted on 21th of June 2026 in Ohcejohka/Utsjoki.
The declaration addresses the shared future of the Sámi people, self-determination, and the protection of Sámi lands, waters, languages and culture.
The declaration concludes with the message of the Gávnnadeapmi 3 Declaration:
“We have been shaped by those who came before us, and we are now shaping the future for generations to come.”
