A lot is happening with Sápmái Buorrin! From launching our Home Residency Programme to preparing for upcoming events and developing our Pilot Cities initiative, we're working across Sápmi to strengthen Sámi businesses, support duojárat and increase the visibility of genuine Sámi products.

Are you heading to Jåhkåmåhke Márnána in 2027? Come and meet us at Sámi Duodji! We'll be there to share information about Sápmái Buorrin and help Sámi entrepreneurs and duojárat make the most of the opportunities offered by the project.

Get professional photos of your duodji
Bring your duodji to our photo studio! We'll help you photograph your products for use in promoting your work and business. Portrait photography will also be available for new and existing Sámi Trademark users.
With your permission, selected photos may also be featured on our website to showcase Sámi businesses and duojárat.
Help shape the future of Sámi businesses
Share your thoughts through our survey and contribute to the development of the Sámi Trademarks. Everyone who participates will have a chance to win prizes!

The Home Residency Programme is underway!
Our three-month Home Residency Programme has officially started! The programme brings together six participants from Sweden, Norway and Finland to develop their duodji practices and businesses, exchange experiences and explore Sámi entrepreneurship together.
We kicked things off in Jåhkåmåhkke in early October, and since then the group has started weekly digital gáfestallamat, creating a space to share experiences, discuss individual projects and learn from one another. Guided by mentor Lena Viltok, participants will also meet guest speakers covering topics such as marketing, branding and business development.

Pilot Cities: Bringing genuine duodji to new audiences
Our Pilot Cities Initiative is taking shape in Levi, Umeå and Tromsø! Over the summer and autumn, our team has put together three duodji giisá (duodji showcases), featuring a selection of high-quality products from across Sápmi carrying the Sámi Duodji and/or Sámi Made trademarks.
These collections will introduce potential partners to the diversity of genuine Sámi products and encourage shops, hotels and other businesses to include duodji in their offerings.

We're looking for duojárat using Sámi Trademarks who are interested in new sales opportunities, as well as shops, hotels, travel agencies and other businesses interested in joining the Pilot Cities Initiative.

We're excited to officially launch our Pilot Cities Initiative in Levi during the Levi World Cup!Visit us at Lapland Avenue, where we'll introduce the project, showcase Sámi entrepreneurship and connect with potential partners. Duojár Katja Magga from Vuohčču will also be joining us.
