Stop the ongoing human rights violation in Norway!

For years, Maja Kristine Jåma and the Sámi community in Fovsen-Njaarke have been at odds with the Norwegian state over the decision to construct wind turbines in an area crucial for their reindeer herding.

In October 2021, the Supreme Court in Norway unanimously ruled that the wind power plant, now fully operational, violates the human rights of the Sámi people. 500 days later, a solution has yet to be reached regarding the power plant, and the ruling remains ignored by the Norwegian government. Would you like to support the Sámi in Fosen in their fight to preserve their culture against the ongoing human rights violation in Fosen?
