The Saami Council has opened the second application round for the Dalán grant (Immediate grant) for 2026. You can apply for the Dalán grant using the electronic application form on the Saami Council website until 10th October 2026 at 23:59 (CEST). The maximum Dalán grant amount is 20,000 NOK. You can find the other Dalán grant rules on the Saami Council website.

- The purpose of the Dalán grant is to support artists and cultural actors in implementing opportunities that suddenly require support. This can be, for example, participation in a festival, concert, exhibition, course, or other cultural event for which it has not been possible to apply for funding elsewhere, says Unna-Maari Pulska, Cultural Secretary of the Saami Council.

Applications for 2027 grants also open until 1 November 2026

The Saami Council is currently accepting applications for 2027 cultural grants. The application period for annual grants ends on 1 November 2026 at 23:59 (CET). Annual grants are project grants, travel grants, and work grants. The Cultural Committee of the Saami Council decides on the allocation of all cultural grants.
