Sápmái Buorrin invites duojárat and Sámi entrepreneurs from across Sápmi to apply for the Home Residency Programme. The programme aims to support and strengthen Sámi practitioners through intergenerational learning, mentorship, and the development of ideas, practices, and ways of working.

The program is particularly aimed at those who are already Sámi trademark users or are willing to be a trademark user.

The Home Residency Programme follows a flexible model where you work from home, in your own context and at your own pace. The programme combines digital mentorship, the exchange of experiences with other participants, and shared conversations that support both ideas and the working process.

A central part of the programme is the exchange of knowledge between generations, where participants learn from both the mentor and each other. By bringing together Sámi practitioners across generations and experiences, an environment is created where traditional knowledge, lived experience, and new ideas meet and grow together.

The programme is based on a needs-based approach and supports the development of participants’ own projects and practices. It creates space for reflection, exploration, and storytelling, where knowledge, creativity, and ways of working can evolve in alignment with Sámi values.
